Candy Cane Lane part 2

We went to candy can lane again with Haiden last Friday night. He was first in line to meet Santa. Santa even gave him a stuffed lizzard. He was pretty excited!
Look how cute he is telling Santa what he wants for Christmas. "A plane to go with my train." This is being made by the elves... we tell him, and as long as he is a good boy, santa will bring it on xmas... He is so scared to be a bad boy... this has lasted about a month or so... It is great for us!

Candy Cane Lane Sledding Time

Last Saturday night marked the opening night of El Segundo's Candy Cane lane... Haiden was hooked up by Aunt Jacqueline's teacher connections and was able to ride on the sled at the house with all the snow... Look at his face- He was so amped!! Just think, if we move to Wisconsin, he will have plenty of snowy days to go sledding...

Tis the Season of GingerBread Houses

We thought it would be really fun to decorate a Gingerbread House with Haiden last Friday Night. He was obsessed with the frosting, and then he had a great time placing the candies... If frosting spilled he was the first to rescue it with a quick lick. Since the completion of the house, I spot him taking bits and pieces off the house daily and popping them in his mouth. Pretty Soon the house is going to be vacant...

I Did It, I Did it

Last night Chris and I were sitting downstairs. Haiden ran up to his room to get something.. We heard him playing with something in his room and we couldn't figure out what it was, maybe the train table... All the sudden, Haiden began to yell, I did it! Come see! I did it! He kept going on, and then I figured that I better run up to see what it was... He grabbed my hand at the top of the stairs and led me into his room. "Look Mommy, I finished the Thomas puzzle all by myself." He was right. He completed a puzzle that had absolutely no pictures to show you where to put the pieces, nor any cookie cutter shapes to insert the pieces... it was completely a blank puzzle that he had to build on his own... I was shocked and gave him a huge hug and a kiss. I was so proud of my little H-Man.

Dentist Day!

Look at what a good boy I was at the dentist..I had all my teeth scraped and cleaned. I really liked it when Christie asked me to give a Nemo Kiss to the water suction tube... It was so fun, mommy was so proud of me, she let me get a new toy.

This year Haiden was Smiley Shark... Or Perhaps I should call him, Sugar Shark... He absolutely loved eating his candy... He favorite candy over the night became sugar babies... and mini m&m's.

I am a big boy now!!

Haiden is 2.5 years old, and while in Cabo he became potty trained!! He went to school the day after we got back and didn't have 1 accident. Way to go H-Man!!! It has now been 2 solid weeks, and he is even starting to wake up in the middle of the night, and go to the bathroom... We aren't brave enough to take that diaper away, just yet...

So I heard a complaint that I didn't post enough pictures from Cabo... Haiden made requests for La Bamba at every restaurant... I think they play this song at school a lot...
He loved to swim in the ocean every day with Daddy... then he burried daddy in the sand.

The Great Pumpkin!

On October 5th, we stopped off at a Large Pumpkin Patch in Camarillo. Haiden had a blast climbing the Haystacks and picking out his very own pumpkin... Each and every day he asks me if I have bought paint yet; so that he can decorate the pumpkin... "Mommy you buy paint yet?" I finally bought paint pens this past Saturday. More pics to come of his decorating skills, once I download them...
