Alfalfa Fair

On our way home from tehachapi we stopped at this mega fairground. There was an adult and kiddie side to the fair... more animals to touch and see than I have ever seen. Every game that Haiden played, he one a prize... We left with a shark, turtle, and snake! Haiden even had time to eat an entire funnel cake!

Tehachapi trip

Last month we had to get away for a mini break. We headed up to Tehachapi, where Chris's parents have a nice cabin. The photos below document some of the fun Haiden had while bonding with mommy and daddy.

look in the background on the bottom left... there were about 10 cows outside our cabin on this Sunday morning... Haiden was looking for the usual deer, and he found cows grazing!! So wild!

Shark Bed!

These photos are super past due, but back in July Haiden began to climb out of his crib. Before we left for Hawaii, we found this awesome bunk bed manufacturer and he made Haiden a bed in 1 week. He was so nervous that he could hurt himself, as were Chris and I. Once we came home from Hawaii, and Chris was out of town, I asked Haiden if he wanted to sleep in his shark bed. He said Yes, Shark Bed Mommy! Since that day, he has not even looked at his crib. These photos were taken after his first night in his bed. He slept thru the whole night... We are so proud of him!!!
