Merrick 10 months 3 weeks

Merrick had a fun time in the Dells... Eventhough he had a terrible cold- He played, took a ride in the lazy river, and took a lot of baths... I think he is going to live up to the meaning of his name... Merrick,"ruler of the sea" He loves H20!

Sledding Anyone?

So we thought it would be really fun to go sledding...
I think that I was the only mom to take her 10 month old down a icy, steep sledding hill. Once I got halfway down the bottom, I saw someone elses blood on the snow, and 2 kids jump air over chris and Haiden... and I started to walk down with merrick... it was scary! Good think our community is taking the hint and making their own sledding hill and ice skating... yeah!!!
can wait for those pics after xmas!

First Steps for Merrick

Merrick is 10 months old as of 2 days ago. Merrick Took his first real steps yesterday unassisted!!! Yeah Merrick!!!

BIG Storm brings A Frosty Time

Okay... so who is from California??? We are of Course... Thanks to Jacky.. .she taught us in windy below 0 temps... to make Frosty... he was about 6 feet tall... and made w/ a squash nose, and blueberry mouth... and rocks for buttons... super fun!! Katie was in her PJ's outside when this was happening... crazy girl!!

Devils Lake Trip...

Merrick is 9 months old!

Today Merrick went to his 9month check up. He is 85% for Height at 29.5 inches, He is 21lbs 12oz, which puts him at 70% for weight. His head is about 70%. He was standing alone, babbling, and crusing from furniture to furniture... The doctor thinks he will be walking sooner, than we expect.. yikes!!! More pics to come soon...
