Bye Bye Binky

Okay, we are the parents that let their toddler keep his binky... We didn't want to take it away until after his baby brother arrived... So we were going to try the balloon trick... Except, Haiden believed that he really could go up to the moon to get it on his space shuttle. During his 3 year doctor visit, the doctor mentioned that Haiden's articulation could one day be affected by multiple ear infections or binky usage... Mommy got crafty that night and told him it was his last night to have his binky... I kept telling him that the doctor said "no more binky." The next day at school he told everyone the doctor has his binky... He slept fine that day and that night... He got rid of it completely cold turkey... Wish I would have known it was going to be that easy... I emailed his doctor, and she thought it was a great story...

Merrick's 2 month Check UP

Merrick Weighed 12lbs 8 oz, 24 inches tall... he had 3 shots... He was a real trooper until he woke up in pain!!!

Haiden wanted his 3rd birthday to be a Spiderman Party... When he saw this wave cake at 31 Flavors, he had to have it... Then it was created... The Spider Man Surfing Birthday Party... I was so happy when I found the mini spiderman for the cake!

The other day Haiden walked into my parents house with a milk shake in his hand. Of course my dad wanted to try it, and Haiden looked at my dad and said "yucky for you, yummy for me..."
it was classic... Haiden loves to hide things now... So he then hid the milkshake behind some picture frames on my parents bookcase and my mom found it the next day... My dad thinks it is so funny, that Haiden didn't even get to finish it, since he hid it from himself too.
